Whenever a rod is touched with a cloth, it tends to acquire a specific electrical charge. The polarity of the order is determined by the composition of the material used to make the electrode rod.
A positive control is created when a glass rod is rubbed with a piece of fabric, but a negative account is created when a plastic rod is rubbed with a bit of cloth. When these charged rods are brought closer to a freely hanging pom-pom ball, a force of attraction or repulsion is found to exist between them. A photocopier, often known as a copying machine, is one of the most compelling demonstrations of electrostatic force in everyday life. The original paper is displayed on a screen made of glass. The image of this original piece of writing is transferred to a drum that has been charged positively.
Most of the time, the ink powder or toner utilized is charged with negative polarity. The drum rolls against the paper on which the imprint is to be made, creating the needed impression. The ink is subsequently transferred to the report, successfully reproducing the original document on the other side.
