A performance by Alexis Michalik

Katia and Justine fall in love, a fairy tale love. Justine wants a child. Katia, who is often hurt in life, finally accepts that they both tried artificial insemination. Katia became pregnant, but a few days before their child was born, Justine disappeared … Twelve years later, Katia died. He needs to find a tutor for his daughter, Jeanne. Her only option: her brother, William, a cynical writer, whom she has not seen for 5 years. A whirlwind of emotions can begin. How does love end? This is the question we are asking here. Everyone is suffering but no one is complaining. These characters are still immersed in the worst pain of love, having to go through loss, mourning, leaving, moving on, always. They had hit rock bottom, but by facing each other, struggling with strength almost to despair in the face of impending death, shouting at each other, hugging each other, they lived, hurt, and they live strong. We laugh at their misery, we cry with them. We will love them all. Because it looks like a sad story, but underneath it’s a love story.

• Direction: Alexis Michalik
• With: Clément Aubert, Pauline Bression, Juliette Delacroix, Alexia Giordano (from the end of November 2020), Marie-Camille Soyer, and alternately Victoire Brunelle-Remy, Lior Chabbat, Grisel Chapet, Lila Fernandez, Léontine d’Oncieu, Violette Guillon, Amelia Lacquemant, Elisa de Lambert, Ambre Pallas, Léwine Weber
• Assistant director: Ysmahane Yaqini assisted by Clémentine Aussourd
• Decoration: Juliette Azzopardi
• Costumes: Marion Rebmann, assisted by Violaine de Maupeou

“Through the miracle of a revolving play, this love born and broken on stage is just like ours. Because the actors, and this is another strength of Michalik, are in our image. The Figaroscope
