PUMA has unveiled Manchester City’s third kit for the upcoming 2022/23 season. A unique launch in more ways than one since the jersey launched simultaneously and for the first time in the Metaverse.
A nod to the street art produced in Manchester, the new third shirt of City of Manchester has a ring design inspired by the Manchester worker bee, a symbol of Mancunian character that adorns, among other things, the coat of arms inherited by the city in 1842 as well as murals, municipal bollards and even of the city’s rubbish bins in 2014. For the finishing touch, the rings were covered in a special spray paint effect that pays tribute to the creativity and art that is synonymous with Manchester.
And, for the first time, PUMA and Manchester City launched their new kit on Roblox, the free-to-play video game, giving players the opportunity to explore and interact with the new kit. The two partners offer a Manchester City “reskin” of the current PUMA and Land of Games hall and stadium in the colors of the new shirt. And, for a limited time, the experience will also feature Manchester City Home and Third kits, new community-made merchandise, new experience items, apparel, and event updates. In addition, as part of the launch, a portal will be opened to link the Blue Moon experience in Man City on Roblox, giving visitors the opportunity to get a free item by visiting both experiences.
In addition, during the first two weeks of launch, users who participate and win Football Rush on PUMA and Land of Games will be able to redeem a free Manchester City digital shirt. All other visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the new Manchester City digital shirt from the PUMA Store on Roblox at this address.

Along with this, PUMA will host a YouTube tournament on Football Rush which will feature ten participants divided into two. The tournament will take place after the launch of the shirt. Tournament winners will receive $10,000 to spend on Roblox.
