Web3 was the big topic of the season (this will of course be discussed in the next Marketing Remix). Does it herald a new age?
It is difficult to understand or in any case to anticipate all the ins and outs, because they consist of many sub-segments, not always directly connected.
For others, web3 simply heralds a distribution of wealth as well, but also (sic!) More peace and more freedom. Some were more skeptical, just seeing a buzz. Others are very negative. Contrary to its promises, web3 can be web2 but worse: more mediation, more centralization.
Some smart brands, especially in luxury or fashion, see opportunities there… right away, right now!
