PlayStation Plus: Games of the month in June running with a mythical license?

Game news PlayStation Plus: Games of the month in June running with a mythical license?

Here we are! The new PS Plus, with three formulas, was deployed in France. But some practices will not change and, in July, subscribers, whatever their formula, will have the right to games to be downloaded at no additional cost.

For the month of June, PS Plus subscribers are treated to God of War (2018), Naruto in Boruto: Shinobi Striker and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Three titles with very different proposals, but they were all well received by the players. As with other seasons and for many months, the birth of these games was long gone opened by Dealabs prior to official announcementand the momentum seems to be continuing with games planned for the month of July.

As usual, we’ll have to remove the tweezers before Sony makes it official, but the chances of seeing the list confirmed are huge. In all likelihood, the games available in July are The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, Arcadegeddon, and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time! The first, as reported by Dealabs, already part of the games accessible to PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers (and therefore Premium) but is thus available for subscribers requirements.

The Dark Images: Man in Medan

Developed by Supermassive Games, Man of Medan is first title in an anthology of horror narrative gamesfollowed by Little Hope, House of Ashes, and soon followed by The Devil In Me. This is the same studio that recently released The Quarry for 2K, and to which we owe Until Dawn.

The idea is to take some well -known horror legends, use a group of characters, and make multiple choices that lead to survival or (often) painful death. In the Man of Medan, based on the legend of Ourang Medan, we follow a group of characters trapped in a ghost ship where terrible things happen. The title was so embarrassingly received by critics, but its audience found it.

Arcadegeddon

Released for early access in July 2021, Arcadegeddon is a title created by Ilfonic (Friday the 13th: The Video Game). It takes players into a world controlled by the mega-corporation Fun Fun Co, which breaks down the public’s favorite games one by one. The story no longer goes on and serves as an excuse a TPS cooperative allowing you to shoot at all costs! Playable solo, Arcadegeddon has chosen a very cartoony and colorful art direction for a world full of robot killers.

With each stage, the enemies are more numerous and more dangerous. Variety of conditions, lots of weapons, the title had everything to please but was often lacking in depth during our testing, a situation that has since improved. Promising, Arcadegeddon is just waiting to build a strong player base, and its arrival on PS Plus will help achieve this goal.

Crash Bandicoot 4: The Time Is Near

Mythical license born of Naughty Dog, Crash Bandicoot is one of the 3D adventure platformers that marks their time. Now in the hands of Activision and Toys for you Bob, the license first came back through N’Sane Trilogy, before continuing with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. Twelve years after Crash 3, players have found Crash and Coco in a new adventure, as fun and colorful as it was demanded! many levels, full of dangers, enemies and flush elements as offered, in the purest licensing tradition.

The flow is different, the sensations are good, and the marsupial is just as circling. However, some mistakes maneuverability sometimes makes things harder than it is, and Toys for Bob doesn’t choose originality. Nothing will dampen fans of the genre, as CRash Bandicoot 4 is definitely a very good title. In other words, the title doesn’t change the wheel, but it’s great!
