Since its announcement at E3 2021, A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the adventures of Amicia and Hugo, has long been over. But now, as promised, the title is making a great appearance at the Tribeca Games Showcase.
A Plague Story: The Requiem is revealed in a make-up
After being forced to flee their home in the midst of the One Hundred Years War to escape the Inquisition in A Plague Tale: Innocence, Amicia and Hugo face many obstacles. Sadly for them – but good for the players – their journey is not over yet. A new opus was actually presented during E3 2021, creating excitement among the fans. Now, this sequel, titled A Plague Tale: Requiem, which has been watching us for many months now, is back. He took advantage of the Tribeca Games Showcase to reveal images of the game and the launch of a game demo for players passing through New York (let’s get back to this).
As you can see by looking at the making above, we once again see Amicia and Hugo working together to face this hostile world. which was once again destroyed by the forces of the Inquisition and of course by the plague. But what we see most of all is that some of the extracts revealed show graphics to die for; logically, since the title is above all a PC and next generation production (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S). The game is also available on Nintendo Switch (via the Cloud) and Xbox Game Pass.
This creation, available in French, also allows you to learn more about the game’s development and the history of the studio. which has grown from 12 to 250 developers over the years, that’s all.
A demo for A Plague Tale: Requiem
Those lucky enough to get a ticket to attend the Tribeca Games Showcase will be able, from June 11, to discover New York, the venue of the event, a playable demo showing the first 40 minutes of the game. Implementing this proposal in a few minutes of play shows that the project is well advanced and that we are entitled to real gameplay extracts in the coming days … Why not during the Microsoft conference (Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022)?
