“We started buying plans by the end of 2021, but we’ve implemented a lot of projects with the goal of providing a customer experience. We’re in an industry approach. The goal is to create value in this new- virtual properties just as we do our real properties, ”added Nicolas Joly, CEO of Casino Immobilier, in an interview with Les Échos.

The purpose of the game made by the Casino is simple. In the metaverse plot The SandBox belongs to the group, participants had to go in search of food from the Club Leader Price online store, to get vouchers or discounts redeemable in the real world.

The company is also studying the introduction of rewards in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

This game intended for Price Club Leader members will serve as an experience for the Casino group. If this is to prove successful, he will have to bring his other major retailers into the metaverse, such as Monoprix or Franprix.
