A Culhat resident filed a complaint for attempted theft of his dog on Friday morning. According to the victim heard by police, three individuals entered his property and attacked his dog. By taking his defense and wanting to intervene, he would have been attacked by the invaders, who fled. Community gendarmes from the Lezoux brigades, leading the investigation, quickly intervened in the area but did not find the culprits. According to Captain Fauvel, second in command of the gendarmerie company at Thiers, this type of attempt to steal a dog remains “a remote fact”.
New anti-runs operation in Clermont-Ferrand
Friday night, police organized a new operation against urban rodeos, in the Brézet sector, especially on the Louis-Blériot axis, in Clermont-Ferrand. The owner of a scooter, which was stolen overnight from Saturday to Sunday in Beaulon, filed a complaint Sunday morning with the gendarmerie brigade in Dompierre-sur-Besbre. The two wheels were hidden in the hall of a house, with the victim’s friend.
Heat stroke in the performance of the majorettes in Vézézoux
A major intervention mobilized several dozen firefighters, Sunday, May 22, in Vézézoux. As the majorettes prepared to give their performance, many of them got sick. Most of the victims showed mild symptoms such as headache, nausea and severe fatigue. About fifty firefighters were mobilized to help them. The doctor examined fifteen people in the area, including eleven teenagers aged 14 and 15. Fourteen people were able to return to their homes and one victim was rushed to hospital in Brioude. These people seem to be victims of heatstroke. The operation ended at 6 p.m.
