Nintendo Switch Sports, Bugsnax… Switch games of the week

Game news Nintendo Switch Sports, Bugsnax… Switch games of the week

While the month of April is relatively calm, Nintendo’s little hybrid is preparing to welcome titles worth seeing. Some are already well -known (Nintendo Switch Sports, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe), others are more confidential despite their many virtues. In this week’s program: TPS, action/adventure, walking simulation, metroidvania, management and motion gaming. At your helm, citizens!

Zombie Army 4: Dead War

Released in 2020 on other platforms, Zombie Army 4: Dead War has finally come to Switch’s attention in a version including the contents of the first season, which are new characters (as well as new outfits ), additional weapons (with additional skins) and three new levels. We remember that this Rebellion-made title resurrected Hitler’s armies so that the four players could work together to bring them back to hell. In the program: undead Nazis, dismemberment, customization and unique Kill Cams. Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a mastered co-op TPS that smacks of the crazy B-series.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe

Watch out, little nugget! Released almost nine years ago on PC, Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is a walking simulator like no other. In Stanley’s role, the user can follow or not follow voice-over cues, creating funny situations made of ridiculous choices and consequences. The developers describe their child as “a game where you are the game”. In our testing, we explained that it was a game that talked about the game and where we were asked not to play. This Ultra Deluxe version expands the world of software with new content, new options and more places to visit. Everything is sprinkled with a graphic overhaul and additional access options. These are great arguments to find Stanley in joy and good humor.

Bugsnax

The former PlayStation 5 exclusive comes to the Switch this week. Bugsnax is a 100% solo adventure game, with an unusual art direction, designed for kids. So we found Zenka Island (praising the pun) with its hundreds of Bugsnax species to catch through traps and bait. Small creatures, insects and delicacies, roam different biomes to explore. Gradually, the town of Snaxburg grew and the inhabitants manifested a disposition that was often drenched in … sauce. With its secondary quests and mysteries to be solved, the Young Horses software offers ten busy hours of play.

Transiruby

Transiruby’s pitch may fit a stamp: a continent that seems to come from an unknown dimension is visible, and a cyborg named Siruby decides to explore it. Joy-Con in the hands, the player is actually faced with an interior metroidvania where he can fly an airplane and a motorcycle. Made by the creators of Kamiko, the title has a pretty cute pixel art direction. Thanks to his sword, the hero can push back his opponents, while the gun makes them platforms. Full of puzzles and riddles, Transiruby will be one of April’s nice surprises.

Tasomachi: Behind the Dawn

Choosing games with no funny cats is like a Facebook session … with no messages showing cute cats. In TASOMACHI: Behind The Twilight, we find our favorite little furballs in a mysterious village located in the Far East. Yukumo, a girl traveling aboard a plane that accidentally crashed, enters it to look for parts to repair her engine. The software produced by Orbital Express is a colorful adventure game with a soundtrack composed by Keitaro Ujiie, an artist who has already worked on Beatmania and Groove Coaster.

Parkasaurus

Are you planning to put dinosaurs in your dinosaur park? As the promotion of the latest episode of the Jurassic World heats up, Parkasaurus has emerged from its egg. Like a modern-day John Hammond, the player must build a dinosaur park with attractions designed to entertain visitors. But unlike the previously mentioned mad scientist, the mission of the founder is to ensure the well -being of his creatures in order to develop a bond with them. The idea is that when a storm passes and destroys the enclosures, the dinos are so happy that they don’t attack humans. Easy isn’t it? To do this, you need to use the tools available to create the right biospheres, being very careful to choose the plant level, height and humidity appropriate for each species. More than 80 elements are available to the player.

Nintendo Switch Sports

After a Wii Sport whose success was well established and after a Ring Fit Adventure that proved that motion gaming is still highly valued on the part of the community, Nintendo Switch Sports is finally here. As we already know, the goal is to regularly participate in a series of game activities and mimic the actions in front of your screen using Joy-Con. The games available are volleyball, badminton, football, chanbara, tennis and the inevitable bowling, the star mini-game of the first installment released on the Wii. Other games will complete the list over time, such as golf, which arrives this fall. The events will all be played in local or online Multiplayer, with leagues dedicated to the pros for the most experienced. There are sports!
